My senior year of high school, I got an internship with a family friend who is a fashion photographer.  She had recently gotten work from an Australian makeup company, and would be putting together a tutorial book on how to achieve certain celebrity looks using the company’s makeup.

 

My job was to record the photo shoots and make step-by-step tutorial videos for users to view alongside the book.  I also helped set up shot angles, directed the cast, and helped the photographer make sure everything ran smoothly.  Overall it was a fun and interesting experience, in which I learned a lot about managing a team of people, as well as time management skills, and being creative with my thinking.
